Waterfall
The Waterfall sewing pattern is a bohemian dress with big, flowy sleeves. It features a button placket and a Mandarin collar (also known as a granddad collar). The pattern is called the Waterfall because of the way the sleeves flow down from the pleats at the shoulders. It comes with three views: a blouse (view A), a mini dress (view B), and a maxi dress (view C). The pattern comes in the usual size range (31’’-59.6’’ bust). This is a PDF pattern, which means you will have to print it out, either at home or at a copy shop. An important note on fabric: don’t use medium/heavy weight fabric for this sewing pattern! I recommend the following fabrics (among others): lightweight linen, flowy cotton voile, double gauze, viscose, silk.
The skill level for this pattern is confident beginner/intermediate. However, I have written the instructions so that it is accessible to beginners as well.
